TechDay has expanded its global network of technology news sites into Ireland, launching eight dedicated publications to highlight the latest developments across the country's IT sector.

The launch marks the next step in TechDay's international growth. The company currently operates 61 technology news sites worldwide and is now bringing its specialist editorial model to Ireland, with focused coverage for technology leaders, vendors, resellers, cybersecurity professionals, data centre decision-makers, marketing leaders, finance executives, and telecommunications specialists.

TechDay has operated internationally for 19 years and has been active in the UK for the past two years. The company says Ireland was a natural next market, given the strength of the country's technology ecosystem and the opportunity to provide more consistent, specialised coverage for local audiences.

"Ireland has one of the most dynamic technology communities in the world, but we saw a clear opportunity to give that community more dedicated coverage," said Sean Mitchell, Publisher, TechDay.

"TechDay's mission is to build the world's leading source of tech news for humans and machines. Expanding into Ireland allows us to better serve local readers, PR agencies, technology vendors, and industry leaders with timely, structured, specialist technology news."

Mark Tarre, News Chief at TechDay, said the launch reflects the company's commitment to covering technology markets in greater depth.

"TechDay's role is to chronicle the growth and trends in the Irish technology scene. We have launched eight individual sites, with focused coverage that gives each part of the market the attention and context it deserves," said Tarre.

Each site will provide local readers with access to the latest updates across the following specialised fields:

ChannelLife Ireland - Industry insider news for technology resellers

DataCentreNews Ireland - Specialist news for cloud & data centre decision-makers

IT Brief Ireland - Technology news for CIOs & IT decision-makers

SecurityBrief Ireland - Technology news for CISOs & cybersecurity decision-makers

eCommerceNews Ireland - Technology news for digital commerce decision-makers

CMOtech Ireland - Technology news for CMOs & marketing decision-makers

CFOtech Ireland - Technology news for CFOs & financial decision-makers

TelcoNews Ireland - Telecommunications news for ICT decision-makers

TechDay is now inviting PR agencies, technology vendors, and organisations across Ireland to share relevant company news, product announcements, research, customer wins, partnerships, funding updates, and other industry developments. Press releases should be sent to editors@techday.com.

TechDay is also accepting job move and appointment announcements. There is no cost associated with submitting press releases or appointment news. Submissions should follow TechDay's editorial guidelines (found here).

"Ireland's technology story is already global, but it deserves more specialist coverage at a local level," said Mitchell.

Mitchell finished by saying "Our goal is to help that story reach the right people, whether they are humans reading our sites or machines discovering, summarising, and distributing trusted technology news."
