Westcon-Comstor has opened a new London office that will serve as a regional hub for its European operations.

Located at St Martin's Le Grand near St Paul's Cathedral, it gives the technology distributor its first dedicated central London premises after previously sharing space in the city with parent group Datatec.

The workspace spans more than 6,000 sq ft and is designed for staff, partners and vendors. It includes a 22-seat boardroom, training and meeting rooms, breakout areas and hot-desking space.

Designed around hybrid working, the office will host workshops, briefings and other partner-facing activity. Westcon-Comstor specialises in cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud distribution through its Westcon, Comstor and Rebura businesses.

The opening adds to the group's existing UK locations in Bracknell, Cirencester and Swindon. Westcon-Comstor employs more than 500 people across the UK, while Rebura, the AWS cloud consultancy it acquired in 2024, has separate London premises in Hatton Garden.

UK investment

The move represents a fresh investment in the UK as the company reports stronger sales and profitability. For the year to late February 2026, gross sales rose 9.6% to USD $5.74 billion, while gross profit increased 13.1% to USD $499.2 million.

Adjusted EBITDA rose 15% to USD $172.4 million from USD $149.9 million, and adjusted EBITDA margin improved to 8.9% from 8.0%. Gross margin increased to 25.8% from 23.5%, which Westcon-Comstor attributed to momentum in higher-value parts of the business and a broader shift towards software- and services-led recurring activity.

The company operates in more than 50 countries and works with vendors including AWS, Cisco, CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks. It acts as an intermediary between those suppliers and a channel of resellers, systems integrators and service providers.

Sustainability focus

Westcon-Comstor also linked the office opening to its sustainability goals. The building features a heat pump system, LED lighting with occupancy controls, demand-controlled fresh air distribution, and cycling, shower and locker facilities intended to support lower-impact commuting.

The office is in a building dating from 1925, combining a new workplace fit-out with one of the City of London's older commercial sites. Westcon-Comstor said it has reduced Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% since 2022 and increased the share of renewable electricity in its global consumption to 54%.

This progress forms part of a wider target to source all electricity from renewable supplies by the end of the decade. The London site is intended to support that goal while giving the company a more visible base in one of Europe's main business districts.

David Grant, Chief Executive Officer at Westcon-Comstor, said the office reflected both the group's commercial and operational priorities. He described London as a key location for bringing together staff, partners, vendors and other industry contacts.

"London remains one of the world's most important technology and business hubs, making this a strategic investment for Westcon-Comstor," said Grant.

"As our business continues to evolve and grow, it's essential that we have a dedicated space that reflects our ambitions and brings together employees, partners, vendors and other stakeholders in an environment designed for collaboration and innovation. This move represents a long-term commitment to the UK market, to our channel ecosystem and to creating meaningful opportunities for connection, engagement and growth."
